2. Spoiler

  1. Open the boot and locate the five rubber caps.

  2. Remove the rubber caps using a plastic pry bar.

  3. Use your ratchet, extension, and 10mm socket to loosen the left nut by about 18 quarter-turns. Once the nut feels loose and ready to fall off, tighten it by about a half-turn. Note: A washer is welded to the nut.

  4. Slowly remove the ratchet, ensuring the nut doesn't drop inside the boot. Quickly but carefully place the magnet pick up on the nut. It will either come off with a slight wiggle or you can slowly loosen it further until it does.

  5. Repeat steps 3-4 for the remaining four nuts.

  6. The spoiler is now held in place by three plastic rivets - close the boot and hold the spoiler with a hand in each gap.

  7. Pull straight up to remove it from the car. It should come off fairly easily, but be patient.
